Siriraj Bimuksthan Museum is located on the grounds of the former Thonburi Railway Station. The museum presents the history of Bangkok Noi, Thailand’s medical development, railway transportation, and the lifestyle of riverside communities.
The site is also associated with the discovery of a large ancient wooden boat buried beneath the former railway area, adding archaeological significance to the museum experience.
